Approx 5:50pm my friends 13yo stepson was approached on Ann St Torquay by a white van no markings, one sliding door with windows, no windows on the other side, a male with short dark curly hair, slim build, wrinkles on his jawline, approx 30-40s asked him if he wanted a lift, he also had a sml white fluffy dog in the passenger seat. The young boy had seen the van 5-10mins previously when he was walking up cypress st, where the man in the van waved at him (this young boy is on holidays and has never seen this man before) the young boy felt suspicious and fastened his walking, the van was also going in the opposite direction from him, as he got 1/2 way up Ann st he noticed the same van driving towards him, as it approached him the man in the van asked him if he wanted a lift, the young boy said he was fine and that he lived at my house and pointed he grabbed his bag he was carrying and walked through my back gate where I met him, he was visibly shaken and thought nothing like this would ever happen to him, this has been notified to the police if this happens to any more of our children it has to be notified we have have to stop this creep in his tracks, the police have asked me to keep an eye out for this van
