Approximately 30 years ago, I was crossing the road over to the national library after school(SJI), to catch the 174 bus home. Adolescent boys with only fun in our heads, I mentioned to my buddy as we waited by the road to cross, that it was treacherous crossing the road as apparently pedestrian walkways were not invented yet .... Just as I mentioned that , a vehicle narrowly grazes him and his school bag and his glasses go flying !!!!! Shit!!!!!! Somehow we found the humour in the incident .... We eventually make it home albeit nerve wreck that one of us could have possibly died that afternoon .... and now 30 years later .... We are to meet again !!!!! More updates soon
