Alongside the top 48 players aged from 16-21 from the final 2013 PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Order of Merit, a series of International Qualifiers have also won through to compete in the World Youth Championship. The qualification series was completed by European-based events as Italys Vincenzo Masciarelli, Dutchman Mike Zuydwijk - a Youth Tour winner last weekend - German pair Justin Webers and Marin Schindler and Austrias Fredi Gsellmann secured places in the Last 64. With two players from the original top 50 of players who qualified for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship not competing in Reading on Saturday, a pair of spots will be available in Friday nights open qualifier. Entries for the PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Qualifier closed at 12pm on Friday, with the Qualifier open to any player aged from 16-21 - no entries can be made on the night. Registration will be 4.30pm-6pm and play will start at 7pm, with all games the best of 11 legs. No prize money will be paid out in the Qualifier, with players who progress to play in the Last 64 guaranteed £250. To be eligible to compete in this Qualifier, players must have been aged between 16-21 on January 1 2014. Saturdays PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Last 64 will be followed by PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Event 4. Entries for this event are still available until 2pm on Friday April 4 and cost £25 through the PDC Online Entry System. Sunday will see PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Event 4 take place, with entries also still open until 2pm on Friday April 4 and costing £50 for PDPA Associate Members through the PDC Online Entry System. PDC Development Tour Weekend April 4-6, Rivermead Centre, Reading Friday April 4 7pm - PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Qualifier Saturday April 5 12pm - PDC Unicorn World Youth Championship Last 64 3pm Approx - PDC Unicorn Youth Tour Event 4 Sunday April 6 12pm - PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour Event 4 Entry Fees PDC Unicorn Youth Tour entries cost £25 per event, with a £5,000 prize fund per event on offer. PDC Unicorn Challenge Tour entries cost £50 per event, with £10,000 in prize money per event being paid out. Challenge Tour events are open only to PDPA Associate Members who can enter via pdclive.servasport/login.html. Entry Information * PDC Unicorn Youth Tour events are open to any player aged from 16-21. Players can play from the day they turn 16, while players aged 21 or younger on January 1 2014 can enter all tournaments during 2014. Entry will cost £25 per player per event, and entries will close at 2pm on the Friday immediately before each Youth Tour weekend. Players who have previously entered events online through the PDCs Online Entry System will use their existing Username and Password to login and enter online.
