April 18. Open water is coming! As of this morning, you could see open water by the Airport in town. The landing in town, if not already, will be open soon. The ones that have been out fishing for sturgeon have reported good success. Supposed to be in the 50s this weekend and should be good fishing as well. Will see you on the river! Remember, next weekend is the beginning of the sturgeon season where you can keep on fish if you have a tag. We do still have open cabins for the next few weekends and our Early season rates are only $29 per night per person. Give us a call and go do battle with one of the Rainy Rivers gigantic monsters. There was one caught last weekend that was estimated to be 100 lbs!
