April and July Graduates Career Technical College Summer Commencement 2013 Friday, July 26, 2012 6:00 p.m. Monroe Civic Center Theater Jack Howard Theater 401 Lea Joyner Expressway Monroe, Louisiana Please pick up your cap and gown if you have not done so. They are in the Career Services office. You need to press it as it will be really wrinkled when you take it out of the bag. We will have the photographer at the Civic Center at 3:00 p.m. for pictures. If you want to take individual graduate portraits, you need to be there at 3:00 p.m. Pictures are taken at no charge. You may order online. At 4:00 p.m. every graduate needs to be there. We will hand out your honor chords and go over everything you need to know to have a great ceremony. We will also do a walk through so you know where you will be sitting and what to do. At 5:00 all graduates need to be in the lobby of the Civic Center as we will take program pictures and a group picture of our Summer 2013 graduates to be displayed at the campus. Please don’t leave and stay close as it gets very noisy and you may not hear us call your program. Also, ask your family members to please go take a seat as soon as they get there because the lobby becomes very crowded and we have to line up. The ceremony will start at 6:00 p.m. sharp. We have 120 graduates so the ceremony will last a little over an hour. Ladies, keep in mind that you will be walking up and down stairs, so choose heels wisely. Please dress nice for your special day! See you there!
