Aqaba Container Terminal (Pvt.) Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician. Company Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) is located along the coastline of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. ACT is Jordans only container terminal and therefore plays a vital part in the countrys economy and acts: as a critical gateway for container transport to the wider region. The facility completed a significant expansion project to cater for the future growth. Aqaba Container Terminal (Pvt.) Company is a joint venture terminal between the Aqaba Development Corporation and APM Terminals. Position Summery Plans layout, installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures, apparatus, and control equipment for port facility buildings and structures. Knowledge and Skills Extensive knowledge and understanding of electricity, electrical construction, and applications. Verbal and written communications skills in English. Ability to understand and interpret work instructions. Use a desktop computer with MS Office and applications associated software. Understanding of low to medium voltage, and applicable precautions and safety measures. Education and Experiences Education: Diploma degree electrical engineering and /or Electricity Training Center vocational training for two years. Requires maximum two years working in felid.
