Arabian! Purebred, Rhocky Rhoad (Khartoon Khlassic X PC Padrona Bey). Here we gooooooo... the sabino debate. Ok, NOW, they have tested Rhockys first purebred Arabian son, Rhevelation (see photo with his name)--and tested him dominant white that they labeled W15. This test is not available in the US, per any labs we have found. So, not sure how you test. Since Rhevelation , they pulled the W15 from, they now list Rhocky Rhoad as the founder.... however, his sire, Khartoon Khlassic has produced many with color--but alas-- his grandsire Khemosabi++++// is rumored to have had a belly spot that was tatooed over! It wasnt until DNA could PROVE that this color existed in Purebred Arabians--the color was culled prior to. While there are some characteristics that are listed as faults in Arabians-- excess white is not now, nor have I found it anywhere in writing, that is/was a fault!! It was taboo by breeders/show folks that culled them. NOW we can prove and embrace this awesome color! Rhocky Rhoad--is unique in the fact that he comes from top bloodlines, is well conformed, amazing personality, fancy color, and he produces it! He can and has sired multiple blacks (by bays and chestnuts!!!), flaxen in ALL his chestnut progeny, and he seems to allow/overwrite color from the mare! Here is him and some of his production!!
