Arambam…… I think the title of the movie is imitated from Hollywood movie “The Inception”. The writers “Subha” who are well known for their scripts portrayed topics which have never been touched in our Tamil films such as Ayan, Matran, Ko have penned this script. This time they spot their vision on a major scam (a very serious issue of our country right now) in the silver screen. Ajith plays a negative role in the first half of the film-suits him very much. The second half of the film unveils the reason behind the ruggedness of Ajith with a flashback. After coming to understand that there is a major scam behind the death of his friend, he tries to revenge them legally. But as usual he fails. So with the help of a computer hacker Arya, he kills the villains and also brings all the black money from Swiss banks without leaving a single penny. Ajith fans have all their reasons to whistle in and every scene when Ajith is on screen. But shockingly he underplays in the flashback scene giving room for Rana to score. Arya tries humor in some scenes but mostly fails. Nayanthara plays her role perfectly. Tappsee pannu ……………………………………………. Kishor scores as a policeman. But others have less scope to score. That “Ducati” bike ride of Ajith on Dubai roads will be an amazing frame to keep in memory for Ajith fans. There is no logic in many scenes especially the resurrection of Ajith after shot by minister. If you are the one among who have seen Hollywood action movies like “mission impossible-ghost protocol” then you will not appalled by the action sequences of the movie. (Of course, it is a Tamil movie…… but the bragging by Ajith fans before the release of this movie has urged me to mention this.) In my view “Arambam” is not as so good as “Mangatha”, but better than “Billa 2”.
