Arc Magazine : Guyana-born Carl E. Hazlewoods solo exhibition Weights and Measures: New Work, opens at Salena Gallery, Long Island University in Brooklyn today. Hazlewood continues his recent approach of making work for a particular exhibition space. Weights and Measures is a ‘high-wire act’ between the ephemeral and the permanent; it balances a weightiness of effect against a measured lightness of presentation.
