Are any of your shibas obsessive/aggressive lickers? My shiba constantly is licking everything. Especially when it is you. Your legs, your hands, your arms, your face etc. I personally have no issue, but it is like she is on a mission to clean you. I say aggressive because she REALLY gets into it. She must get every spot and push hard to make sure she is adding in some exfoliant with her soft velvet tongue. Last night was the funniest thing. I came into my bedroom with my BF snuggling with her. She almost never snuggles. I laid down on the bed with them and she starts to lick his hand. Then she proceeds to lick all of his arm. He moves his arm, to which she gets up to where his arm is now at, and keeps licking it. He then hides that arm and brings out the other one on his other side, and she crawls over him to then lick his new arm. I start laughing and then she starts trying to lick my face (to which I am trying to hide because she keeps going for my lips), she then licks his arm again and whenever I reveal my face, she goes back to try to lick it. Then I use my hand as a distraction for her to lick instead of my face. This literally went on for a good 15-20mins of a good shiba tongue scrub down. I could not stop laughing and I wish I got video. Outside of last night, she will pretty much lick anything you put in front of her face. Especially hands. If you make a o with your hand, she will lick the crap out of the hole you created. Or if you are wearing shorts/dress, your legs will be cleaned by her. No shoes or socks on? Here let me clean your feet too. If we tell her to stop she will. But then 5 mins later she might lick a spot on my couch where she is sitting... So are there other crazed licking shibas out there?
