Are people narrow minded or just stupid? I am so tired of hearing people say things like, Why are you still complaining about Superstorm Sandy it was 2 years ago, or Your rental house is built so what is the problem? and my all time favorite, Well at least you got help from FEMA and the state with all the grant programs (seriously)? I love how some have no clue as to the financial burden, the stress, the aggravation, the unanswered questions, and the unknowns that still exist 2 years later. Wouldnt it be great if all those still reeling from Sandy could sit in a room with all those who have asked questions like those above. Maybe we should have a buddy system and let them tag along with meetings, phone calls, leaving messages with no call backs, wasting countless hours to get nowhere oh and maybe show them the bills/receipts that came along too. I know my piles have grown how about the nonaffected?
