Are there any books on attachment parenting for grandparents? I havent have my son and already see our parenting isnt going to be easily understood by my babies grandparents. For example, I was trying to explain grandma why she wouldnt be baby sitting when baby is 2 mo, because baby would probably wont be feeding from a bottle and hell need to eat every two hours, so I would probably wont let him with her for an event we are plan to attend, I am taking the baby with me... She proceeded tell me how I would be so tired of my baby and that since Ill be pumping that would be just as formula feeding him and I should go and have a good time with out the kid. Thats just one example... She always have comments on how children are a burden I would want to get rid off... And that scares me... I want to love my kid, and wish she would be a loving grandma that respects our parenting style. TIA sweet mummies!
