Are there any computer experts reading this? Outlook has just got a little bit more annoying. a year or 2 ago I suddenly found that e mails were sliding across the screen instead of simply appearing in front of me Now they have started sliding across then jumping back a little bit in the direction they came from. Apparently this is what the young people like as it makes computers look more like their mobile phones. I just find it annoying and eventually gives me a headache Surely this effect (and others) can be disabled Surely someone who knew what to do could disable script or jscript or flash or whatever it is that makes this effect run? I have tried every option I can find in control panel, nothing seems to work, surely my fans contain some computer experts? This machine is running windows 8.1, I allowed it to update itself about 6 months ago I think, I have avoided allowing it to update since that time as the alterations made one or 2 things stop working, and I dread to think what other annoying improvements might result from updating it again.
