Are these not the sweetest dogs youve ever seen? This is Gordy and Louie, part of the four pack that were relinquished to Camp Cocker Rescue last week after having lived in dirt and squalor in a backyard their entire lives. (these two are just a year and four months old) You can see the scabs on their bodies from the tick and flea infestation they had all been suffering with. Both of these boys are currently up for adoption here in California. Just for these four dogs only, we have a unique situation in that we can also bring the dogs to AZ to meet adopters. This is only because we have a co-operative arrangement with their secret sponsor in Arizona who is able to lend a hand. (normally, any AZ adopters would be required to travel to CA to meet any dogs they might adopt) Serious adopters should fill out the online application at CampCocker because there still is more to the screening process, which involves a phone interview, vet references checked and then a home safety check. It would be best if these two littermates were to each find a home of their own so as to avoid littermate syndrome problems. We suspect they have never known life outside of that backyard they were born in so they need adopters that will be willing to work with an all positive method dog trainer to socialize them and gently introduce them to life in the real world.
