As we went further out and deeper into their realm, we discovered a whole community among them. All the stories our elders told us turned out to be true. The Little beings choose who to reveal themselves to and when. Thats why arrogant, greedy, sloppy-minded, pushy people never find this realm. Its not for them. When we were out gifting, other residents were drawn. We heard a Little Quail Person shriek and run off. They requested a clove too, so we obliged. Theyll come out on their own terms. Pity... my maternal grandfather (raised in Icelandic traditions) gave me instructions on talking to Elves and such small beings, but I cannot remember now. * FWIW, over half of Icelanders still believe in Elves and in fact have demanded roads not be built where these Elves live, and they are taken seriously. Its also said the Elves dont like modern devices, and if you bring any camping, they will push them over or somehow damage them so that they are not photographed or heard.
