Are they REALLY amazing ! Almost daily I read about AMAZING husbands, wives, boyfriends....well you get the picture. I must ask, are you married to Magneto or a Storm or Wolverine? How about this, have you been together more than 5 minutes, 5 years or an amount of time that would cause amazement amongst those who know you best and never thought it would last this long? Can your lover bend a spoon using their mind, communicate with marine life like Aqua-man, or tie you up with a magic lasso and force you to tell the truth? Id still let Linda Carter but I digress. Could it be that you have a limited vocabulary and youre using superlatives out of context? Could it be that if you grant them Amazing status you feel amazing by association? Or maybe its just that good ole human ego gone goofy on a social site? I have yet to have anyone introduce their loved one as Amazing...in person. Jim Id like you to meet my amazing husband. He can climb walls like a spider and shoots a high tensile yet flexible webbing from his wrists. Its tricky when we high five but just swell when were wrapping those Christmas gifts and run out of tape! Amazing? Maybe! Maybe they are amazing! Loving someone, caring about them more than you do yourself, raising kids together, losing jobs, getting promotions, moving to another state or country to keep a career on track, living all of life loving one another....yeah, ok, thats amazing, so maybe they are to!
