Are we mad thinking that any of the bankers, politicians, developers and speculators who caused the bankruptcy of our country will go to jail? Think back to the "blood Transfusion" scandal of the 1990`s. Over 1600 people, mainly women and haemophiliacs were infected with Hepatitis C when the blood transfusion service used contaminated blood products to produce "anti-D". People died and many more are still suffering from this monumental f**k up, and was anybody sent to jail for that?. No. In France in 1985 something similar happened and the head of the blood bank and the head of the transfusion service were both jailed for their part in the scandal. However these 2 persons were made scapegoats even though it was proven that senior politicians knew what was happening. So think again if you believe that the people responsible for the fiscal espionage which has destroyed this country for my and future generations will ever be behind bars. We will find an Irish answer to an Irish problem and have a tribunal which will cost millions and will only make a select few lawyers wealthy and that will be the end of that. Rant over.
