Are we so intolerant that we cannot deal with criticism on our religion just because a movie didnt criticize other religions? And seriously, does an actor have to practice every character in real life (people pointing out that AK went to Haj while as a character he mentioned something else). Us hisaab se toh Deepika Padukone should have been a bar dancer in real life, because thats what she practiced in Happy New Year! Seriously? Whats going on with people? Wasnt Religions supposedly began because people wanted to live in a harmonized, holistic society- with a set pattern of beliefs, a common creator and a few social rules/norms? Then why isnt there any harmony anymore? Aaj movie ban ki baat kar rahe hai, kal katne ki baat karenge, parso saare country ko jabardasti ek religion mein transform karne ki (then how would it be different from ISIS, Taliban etc that these religious people are ridiculing right now?) We were supposed to be civilized with the religion, but seeing how people argue/talk on social media (people abuse others just because they dont believe in other persons faith), I lament to say that we as a whole society (every religion, every caste) are uncivilized fighters who are dividing themselves on the name of religion. And its not just constricted to movies or social media. I have seen people badmouthing about Peshawar Attacks as well. Bhai, kisi se sympathize nahi karna mat karo, but aise ghatiya toh mat bola. (Will discuss more about it in a new status). But seriously, everyone, please get over it. Its a movie, a message, which primarily has nothing to do with a single religion. Of course, you can go ahead and express your feelings but at least dont demean others (other social media users or actors) in the process. Be more tolerant. And please, aise excuses mat de ki some other movie was banned etc etc because it spoke against Islam (agar woh log violent honge ya unko government jayada support karegi toh kya aap bhi vaisa hi banege?)
