Are you a London-based artist that likes to sketch and might want to be involved in a music video for my song The Cannibals Have Kidnapped Our Nicole Kidman? A very talented director friend of mine Will Tribble has been cooking up this project for quite some time, and were looking for a few artists who fit the bill that want to contribute their talents and a little time to help bring this thing to life! Ive got to state right off that its a no-budget non-paid thing. Will approached me about doing it a few years back because he loved the song and had a vision for building a video around it. Like many of us, he balances between doing professional (video) jobs to pay the bills, and things like this for the love of it. Ill let Will describe it: Although the drawings are based on a script and come together to tell a story, wed really like this to be a portfolio piece for the artists involved, that showcases their personal artistic skill and style as much as being an awesome film. (Well post a link to an example in the comments). Were looking for: - Illustrators who can do fairly quick pen on paper sketches and can show us some examples of their work - Are willing to do preliminary sketches based on a brief and take a bit of feedback - Are willing to draw these up while being filmed (just their hands and the paper, like the example video) - Are also willing to make the final drawings simple enough that they could easily be redrawn in 30 minutes - an hours time - Are willing to do this for love and food while were filming.
