Townsville Podiatry Centre is seeking a mature minded, motivated, efficient and organised individual to complement our professional and friendly team in the role of Customer Service Operator (CSO). This is an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a customer service professional to provide our patients with a welcoming and comforting experience in addition to performing the essential responsibilities to a high level. As a CSO at our Podiatry Practice you will be the first point of contact for our new and existing patients. The primary responsibilities for this role include: • Welcoming all patients on a busy reception; • Answering phone calls and assisting with patient enquiries • Ensuring the comfort of our patients at all times • Making patient bookings using computerised appointment diary • Processing HiCaps claims and receipting payments • Processing DVA and EPC electronic claims • Responding to emails in a timely manner • Additional administration duties as required. To be successful in this role you will have advanced customer service orientation and previous experience in an administrative role. A thorough knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, advanced written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work within a team is essential. Your ability to juggle multiple requests whilst keeping a level head will ensure your success in this role. This is a Casual Role therefore you will need to be flexible with your working hours. Previous experience in a similar role within a medical or allied health practice would be advantageous. We offer a supportive and caring work environment with award wage rates applicable.
