We are a local company located in Seaview, specialising in building repairs and maintenance. We cover the Wellington region including Tawa, Johnsonville and porirua, so you will need a full clean drivers licence. Right now we are having an expansion within our company due to taking on new contracts and need motivated, experienced carpenters who are able to work unsupervised as well as part of a team and get the job done by the given deadlines, whilst maintaining the best quality of work and service that MPB Property Services Ltd is renown for. As part of your job you will experience variety in your duties as well as location, so you need to be open to change. Your job will include, but is not limited to, constructing new fences, installing hardi glaze to new and existing bathrooms, repairing windows and doors, floor repairs and so on. No two days will be the same. You will be dealing closely with clients in their homes, so a professional, tidy appearance and polite manner is expected. You will need to be able to provide your own tools. A current site safe would be preferred but is not essential. The hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 7am-4pm and Friday 7am-3pm. Some weekend work may be required at times. Your rate of pay will be based on experience. Some training on the job will be given.
