Are you able to give our students their first experience of workplace? KU’s Beyond Barriers scheme is seeking professionals and entrepreneurs able to offer invaluable support through one-to-one mentoring and access to the workplace. The successful mentoring schemes for second-year and postgraduate students from under-represented groups are designed to help students gain the confidence and skills to complete their studies and obtain that all important graduate job. Mentors have said that this has helped their own personal development and provided an opportunity to “give back” to the community. You must be able to offer at least 2 hours per month to your mentee and training will be provided by Kingston University.
