Are you aged 15-20 years old and keen to be part of the Youth Leaders Project? The YMCA Nelson, Nelson Underage / The Truck and St Barnabas are looking for young people to be a part of the The Youth Leaders Project (YLP). The aim is to support youth in volunteering, to encourage personal ownership and leadership, and to foster a sense of pride and respect for themselves, and the communities in which they live. You will get • Leadership training • A weekend day team building with cool outdoor adventure activities (27th-28th June 2014) • An opportunity for you to have experience in running activities and events that youth want • A place to meet with other youth • Food at meetings – yeah If this sounds like you, follow the link through and fill out our online application.
