It too is going to be shut down on September 4, 2014. How very sad and disheartening. I wonder if it is the fact that the NEW OWNERS/operators of the site, ancestry did not realize the extent of what is entailed to be in the genealogy business. The email notice is encouraging every one to down load their raw data to other transferable sites. At a price, of course. I guess the bottom line, will always be GREED. And what makes the most money feasible.
