My name is Dan Parkes and I am the party leader of the newly founded, The Peoples Alliance UK, we are a bunch of likeminded individuals who believe that we need to engage with the system in order to change it. Together we can make a difference and we can push the self serving political elite out of office. Primarily we lean to the left, please find below a small sample list of our current policies - Introduction of a living wage - minimum wage increased to £10 p/h. Earnings over £100,000 to have an increased tax rate of 45%. Earnings under £25,000 to have a reduced tax rate of 15%. Tax Loopholes closed so large corporations pay their fair share. Scrap Zero Hour Contracts. Total welfare reform, no more cuts and a culture of help and encouragement instead of punishment. A shift in the educational paradigm. Reduce university fees to £2,000 and introduce a social fund available to less well off students. The introduction of an MP recall function for constituents. The Legalization, regulated sale and appropriate taxation of Cannabis. Abolishment of the TV Lisence. Creation of community vegetable gardens.
