Are you involved in your childrens lives? PARENTS... GET INVOLVED!! Involved parents know what their children are doing. Involved parents know if their child is a bully. Involved parents know if their child is getting bullied. Involved parents are aware of the subtle changes in their childs behavior. Involved parents are aware that the moods of their children have suddenly changed for no reason. Involved parents talk to their children, not just at them. Listen to what your children have to say. Most of the time they are trying to tell you things without coming out and saying them. Yes life gets busy. The economy is bad. There are many excuses, but there are also many solutions. Get your children into healthy programs where there are good role models to teach them and help get through life. Church, sports, martial arts. Bad things happen, but we as parents need to do our very best to stay involved and minimize the damage that society has placed on our children. The desensitization from video games and movies and music. Peer pressure and bullying. STAY INVOLVED. Stay involved so hopefully one day you dont have to wake up wondering where you went wrong. So hopefully your child does not commit suicide from the constant bullying they could not escape, or god forbid your child guns down their bullys and innocent people in a school yard because they just could not take it anymore, and we stand there shaking our heads asking why did they do that, how could they do that. STAY INVOLVED. Be the parent your children need you to be, and get back to family values.
