Are you passionate about working with children and families? Have you had experience of working with children and families in a church related context? Are you looking for an exciting new opportunity within a vibrant church? All Saints Worcester is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Children’s Worker or Children & Families Worker for September 2014. All Saints Worcester is a vibrant, charismatic, evangelical Anglican church in the heart of the city of Worcester, and is a part of the New Wine network of churches. Our vision is “to be a growing community of Kingdom people, formed of multiple smaller communities, in and through which our lives and our city are radically transformed by God’s love, grace and power”. All Saints is at an exciting and pivotal stage of its development and this is a key role for developing the children and families work within the church and community and for equipping the next generation to follow Jesus. The person appointed will be highly motivated, creative, confident ministering in the gifts and power of the Holy Spirit and excited about being part of a team that shares a common aim of equipping and releasing the church in mission and ministry. Salary: £18,000-£22,500 per annum or pro-rata equivalent (dependent on experience and qualifications). This is a full-time post but we are flexible over exact hours and role specification, and therefore welcome interest and applications from those wishing to explore the possibility of a part-time role. To request a job description and application pack, please email Jeanette Martin (Church Operations Manager) on [email protected]. This post requires an Enhanced Plus DBS disclosure. Interviews will take place on 13th & 14th July 2014. Deadline for applications is 30th June 2014.
