Are you ready? The Relay For Life is just 2 days away! I hope you have your walking shoes ready for a workout. This year, the Relay For Life of Grand Prairie is collecting canned goods. We will use these cans to weigh down our luminaria bags that are placed around the track. Once the luminaria bags are retrieved from the track, the canned items will be donated to a local food bank to help residents in Grand Prairie who need assistance in feeding their families. You can help. We are asking every participant to bring canned goods to the Relay. If everyone brings only 1-2 cans, we will have more than enough! Please help us to make sure we have enough cans for the luminarias. You can drop the cans off at the luminaria tent once you complete registration. (The food banks love donations of canned tuna and jars of peanut butter!) Thank you for your participation!
