Are you ready? We went with Flat # 2, The Chiswick Common Road flat. It was really fun to see everyones comments yesterday. Thanks for joining along with us as we searched for our new home. We liked flat 1 with the two bathrooms and garden for the kids, however it was £150/month above our budget and the distance to retail and transportation played a big factor. Flat 3 was also nice but we really couldnt get over the awkward bathroom and small 2nd bedroom for the kids. In the end, Flat 2 offered the best location, most space, open floor plan, recent updates to the appliances, fresh paint and new carpet. In addition, we were able to get the Flat at our agreed budget, offering £80 less than the monthly listing price. We originally thought that noise may be an issue, however the flat has double glazed windows which cancel out the outside noise. And since there is a flat below us it drowns out any noise that is going on at the car mechanic shop. We are very excited to finally have the keys in hand and begin our move in process this week! We will check back in after a couple weeks to let you know how our home is treating us.
