Are you ready to unplug as the new week begins and increase your productivity? Six steps from Brendon Burchard on how to do it: 1. First hour when you wake up, dont check social media, e-mail, internet or anything digital. Stay unplugged. The first hour when you wake up write what you want to accomplish for the day, write down the key priorities and start directing your life. 2. Do not check in online the last hour before you go to sleep, do not look at Facebook, Twitter, e-mail or anything digital. 3. Make sure when you are in human interaction with someone (dinner, conversation, meeting etc), DO NOT look at your phone, put it away. Its stealing the relationship magic between people and you create disconnect. 4. Make sure you set up at least a day per week when you dont log in online at all. Delegate work if you feel you need to be connected. Set an autoresponder for your e-mails. A few days per month you need to completely detach from the digital world. 5. Every single week get a real book, go to a coffee shop for a minimum of an hour, without phone or laptop, and just notice people and read your book. 6. Make sure that many times a month you get out to nature. If you can, take a walk outside every single day.
