Are you someone that stares or steps in? The streets seem to be littered with the former.., is it lack of education or lack of empathy?! Yesterday whilst in town i had a double whammy! First a disabled boy trying to cross a main road, I about turned and took him across (people had seen this boy but just stared at him) and THEN in John Lewis (so a busy department store) I helped a gentleman with dementia, Id heard him shout for Doreen a few times clearly very distressed so went to find him, whilst all other shoppers AND sales assistants just stared on, literally. We found Doreen his wife, after Id tackled his fear of escalators (that was nerve wracking) and his tears of fear at not knowing where he was or where Doreen was. If you see someone in need please help.
