Are you staying warm? With sub-zero temps again those who are homeless rely on warming shelters to fill an absolute critical need. However, it has come to my attention that Salvation Army and the Warming Center are past capacity. Therefore, VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) Chair (and Pastor), Ellen Rasmussen has opened a supplemental warming shelter. Volunteers are needed to fill a variety of slots thru Wednesday, Jan 29 a.m. The shelter needs to be staff round the clock. Please, share this with your friends, neighbors, etc to keep the doors open and help our fellow communities member have the option of a warm place to go.
