Arianna is doing so so.. Yesterday she had the tonsils and adenoids removed. The adenoids were huge, they were the size of walnuts and surprise, there were tumors attached. Hmm, go figure. The doctor said Im surprised she was even able to breathe! She is tolerating transfusion of Humate P (she has Von WIldebrad syndrome which causes her blood not to clot) and also Amicor pretty well. She wasnt too happy about having to take 12 horse pills every 6 hrs for the Amicor so she opted for 20 ml (still alot!) instead. The Concern at the moment is her blood pressure keeps dropping and she is dizzy and lighheaded. Cardio here grounded her to her room for today, she wanted to go to childlife, but no go. Eric Staley and Linda Stull and Lauren are on their way here, so hopefully that makes her happy for a bit. She wont be discharged to the RMDH until Monday, and then discharged to go home until tuesday. So, keep the cards coming. They do not print them out over the weekend, but she will get them on Monday. We have hooked up the Skype on the computer and her facetime on her IPOD if anyone would like to chat let me know. Im sure she is going to get pretty bored being grounded to her room. So far only one issue with major bleeding last night and also pain, today she refused pain meds but then learned the error of her ways after a while and took them. Cant wait to see Lauren!!! Miss that kid. Arianna has been looking at her page, and will be back on later after she takes a nap. She has her IPOD and computer so if anyone wants to either facetime or skype with her let me know. Also please share her page, she loves seeing the # of Angels go up
