Ariella was able to immediately identify a picture of Dr. King, but then what came after... That black people feel sad that they cant go on busses, and that when asked - she didnt really know what it meant to be a person of color. I almost felt sad pointing out to her which people in her life are African American because Id prefer she just think of them all as people and thats that! (She said Daddy is black - because he wears black pants). Very meaningful MLK day!
