Arising from the chair by the warmth of the fireplace I catch by lens the freshly falling snow on the deck against the backdrop of the new white snow skin,now slowly being grafted on a company of trees. All the while St. Francis is patiently waiting for the company of his feathered friends -- and Frank likewise is waiting to continue our conversation,and as always they are thought provoking and insightful.How very nice for an old man for a brief moment in time to rediscover his inner child and remember how it is to stand and be amazed by it all -- the miracle of the everyday.
