Army Criminal Investigation Command, Fort Meade, MD has received information concerning an apparently recently developed Internet Website -Baby Bundles (happybabybundles.weebly. com) which appears to be geared specifically to military personnel and their family members. In the websites Assistance link on the home page, it was noted in order to obtain Emergency Assistance, the website requires an applicant to submit a current copy of the Service members Leave and Earning Statement (LES) and current DD Form 214. The ownership and actual intent of this website should be considered questionable, based on the type of confidential and personally identifiable information (PII) being solicited for their services. CID cautions the use of this website offerings, until the validity of the service can be properly verified. Simply put, the validity of this web service has not been validated. If anyone feels they have been a victim of an internet fraudulent scheme or scam, a complaint can be filed through the FBIs Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3) at ic3.gov.
