Army National Guard Sergeant , Audree Morrison, who graduates from Kalamazoo Valley Community College Sunday, has put her experiences to work helping other military veterans. If she sees something that is broken or that is not working, she cant help [but] step in and do all she can to make it better, said Elizabeth Lyons, director of Student Veteran Services at KVCC. Shes a fighter in that regard. Shes a very committed individual. Morrison will be receiving her associates degree in law enforcement and criminal justice and has already enrolled at WMU, where she hopes to ultimately earn a masters in social work. I am looking forward to it, because Im proud to work here and Im proud of the things KVCC is doing for veterans, she said of graduating on Sunday. Because I have so much pride in the school and what it stands for for veterans, I couldnt see not coming out with a diploma from here.
