Army officer thrashed in Bandipora In an unusual incident, a local driver thrashed an army officer allegedly harassing drivers during a traffic jam here on Tuesday. Major Ragu of 14 Rashtryia Rifles and town commander Bandipora was beaten at main chowk Bandipora when he got involved in a verbal duel with the driver. However police said that officer was caught in traffic jam and that there was no report of any scuffle. Pertinently, locals in the area had earlier accused the officer of harassment and highhandedness.
