Around 1993, The Santairs (later to become known as Crime Scene) made a demo at Audio Recording, Inc. of several songs—engineered by Kearney Barton. We recorded several songs within a few hours, performing them live and only doing a couple overdubs on either a lead guitar or vocal. I took these recordings on cassette and tried to clean them up a bit, adding a few extra vocal parts and guitar work where necessary. Its very basic and raw stuff that we never came back to finish, but at least now I can present them a little than before. This song, The Rodeo Song was recorded in one take. It featured Wayde Brown on backing vocals and guitars (me), Nick Wilcox on bass on lead vocal, and Dan Penland on drums and backing vocal. The song was originally performed by Gary Lee and the Showdown and written by Gaye Delorme, 1980. I am posting this for Promotional Use Only.
