Around 80 planned hazard reduction operations have been scheduled to take place in the coming week, weather permitting. Fire agencies will be undertaking this important work throughout NSW, including areas across Sydney, the Shoalhaven, Wollongong and the Upper Hunter. Some areas may be affected by smoke from hazard reduction burns. Only call Triple Zero (000) to report an unattended fire. A full list of scheduled hazard reduction burns is listed on the NSW Rural Fire Service website at rfs.nsw.gov.au/hr.
