Around four years ago, Wendy and I were fortunate to meet a young couple who were renting the house near Michigan Stadium where we had started parking and tailgating the year before. Through their boundless hospitality, we were able to become friends and get to know them personally. Dave and Katie were completing their medical studies at the U of M, and were of course very busy with the process of pursuing their careers. Dave and Katie moved, and we started tailgating in another location two years ago. We stayed in contact with them as they continued their residencies in the Ann Arbor area. We are honored to have met and gotten to know these two fine young people, who no doubt are going to have a great and positive impact on the people they meet. It is awesome to witness the desire and willingness they exhibit to serve humanity. Dave and Katie Saxon, we wish all the best for both of you as you continue to pursue your calling to be healers. We have the utmost respect for the persons you have become, and we expect will continue to become. Love you guys, and you have our wishes and prayers for your continued success and joy as you continue your lives together (and with our favorite St. Bernard Holly) at the University Of Colorado Medical Center in Denver!
