Arrived in Pittsburg, NH yesterday afternoon. We did put the canoe in the small pond at Moose Falls dam - a small pond located between the Second and Third Conneticut Lake. The wind made things a bit interesting as it was a struggle to paddle back toward the truck as we were facing a stiff head wind. Fortunately, the pond is small enough so the waves were not big. Went up to East Inlet pond-too late and too windy to try that one as East Inlet pond is a large one. Went up Moose Alley last evening but didnt see anything-we never made it out this morning before daylight. Raining here this morning but will hope that things break off a little later. If not, will ride around the back roads of Pititsburg-one can travel miles and miles and not see a black top road. A GPS is a big help as Cell phones and OnStar are worthless up here in the "Great North Woods". Will post some pictures later on
