Arrrrgh! Those Abuja Scums of Mechanics So my car got faulty-which was normal. I mean, since it wasnt a ramshackle- and my mechanic worked on it for 5 (freaking) days. On the 6th day, the car was DONE. I got charged an outrageous sum i declined to pay all. And the car went bad again on the 7th day. So I called Kaduna for enquiries and what I found was worth prosecuting him. Smh. Again, My good friend, Mr Olajide , had his car down and was attended by another scum of a mechanic who charged him 10k (6k for a spare part and 4k for workmanship). A few hours later, the car STOPPED on his way home. The poor fellow had to use 15k to tow the car to Kubwa. Later, he found out the spare part changed was actually in excellent shape and costs just N1500! Personally, I think they should be charged to court and jailed if found guilty. There should be a special body by governed of thugs to checkmate their fraudulent activities? This is so frustrating. If you ask many more Abuja motorists, Im sure they will testify to this awful trend. The question is; how can you spot the quack-frodulent-scum-mechanics from the rest?
