Arsenal have been dealt a blow with the news that playmaker Arda Turan will not leave Spanish giants Atletico Madrid, according to the Express. Turan has been highly-sought after in the last few seasons and the Turkish international has put in some eye-catching performances. He is highly-rated at Atletico and despite the midfielder being linked with a host of clubs, his agent has revealed that Turan will be staying put at the Vicente Calderon. His agent, Ahmet Bulut, said: He is interested in working under Arsene Wenger and Arda would like to play in England. Arda will not leave Atletico. They are part of the title race and he is a key player. Arda plays for a big club and he will be part of Atleticos success. We have received offers from English clubs. However, for now I would like to insist once more that Arda renewed his contract recently and wants to stay at Atletico. Wenger is looking for midfield reinforcements, particularly with the likes of Flamini and Rosicky not getting any younger. The latter just signed a new contract last week, however, Wenger is looking for more first-team players, with Rosicky likely to make more of a contribtuion off the bench.
