Art Basel announces Crowdfunding Initiative: supporting non-profit visual art projects from around the world Art Basel‘s recently launched Crowdfunding Initiative, a new partnership with Kickstarter, currently features five cutting-edge projects from international non-profit visual arts organizations. The initiative hopes to provide visibility and financial support to a wide variety of artistic projects from non-profit institutions, including exhibitions, public installations, films, artist books, education programs, artist residencies, talks, conservation and archiving, and other innovative art projects.
