Art Revival team...I have put together a plan to build an ice skating rink in Beaudette park for this winter. I have spoken to the mayors office and will be submitting the plan to the city planner for approval next week. I have contacted Home Depot about donating the material. At this point everything looks good and this project will give thousands of hours of entertainment this winter. Here is what I would like from the Art Revival team....if possible. Assuming this ice skating rink plan is approved we would be looking at an opening date in early December ( weather permitting). Regardless of the exact date of the opening, it would be nice to have some art, ice sculptures, Possibly a winterfest ? Can we get some art for the opening. If interested please contact me on fb. We are also looking for help with construction and maintenance ( rink will need to be cleared after snowfall), and ice skate donations. ( again assuming the plan is approved).
