Arthur Elsenaar, artist and an electrical engineer is also known as his digital persona Perfect Paul. At CM#5, Perfect Paul will present a lecture/performance discussing his latest research findings on the external controlled human face as a site for artistic computational expression. Elsenaar’s recent artistic work employs the human face as a computer-controlled display device. Arthur Elsenaar frequently collaborates with Remko Scha on a series of automatic performance-pieces and video-installations which involve computer-controlled facial expression, algorithmic music, and synthetic speech.
