Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution - TopicsExpress

Article III, Section 3 of the United States Constitution specifically defines treason as waging war against the United States or providing aid to its enemies. A few days ago, Speaker of the House John Boener said that Edward Snowden is guilty of treason. Since all Snowden did was expose to the public that the Federal government has been secretly gathering and keeping tabs on our citizens, we can logically conclude that Mr. Boener considers the American public to be enemies of the state.
