Artist Frandy Jean opened the gallery in April 2013 and he has already hosted a juried show for young artists as part of his plans to make the space available for exhibits and workshops. Frandy is always eager to encourage young artists to pursue their artistic talents and he was a guest mentor at the Teen for Arts Festival as a way to support the aspirations of the students. More information about Frandy and the Frandy Jean Gallery is available by visiting the gallery’s website: frandyjeangallery Haddon Heights is the place to be on July 27 as the Frandy Jean Gallery holds its opening reception for the Teen Artist Honors Show. Hosted by noted Haitian artist Frandy Jean, the show will feature exemplary art works created by Camden County teens as part of the Arts for Teens Festival in collaboration with the Camden County Cultural & Heritage Commission. Please be sure to visit the gallery on July 27 between 1pm and 5pm as there will be live music and refreshments and plenty of great art works to view. The show will run from July 9 to August 20 and exhibit hours will be Thursdays and Fridays from 3pm to 7pm, Saturdays from 1pm to 5pm and Sundays from 11am to 1pm. The Frandy Jean Gallery is located near the corner of East Atlantic Avenue and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.
