#ArtistAdvice ... any radio station of any type that is #spinning your record should be considered within your budget. Purchase t-shirts, pens,or mugs, with your brand on it or provide them with give aways of your full CD or single to be given to their listeners. Be creative as it relates to giveaways. Listen, since the recession most businesses have had #budget cuts and the budgets that many stations had for giveaways to their listeners has been in many cases totally removed. Partner with these stations and bless their listeners. Not only that, if they are spinning your music it is because their listeners like it and the #programmer likes it and most likely the owner likes it as well. Show your benevolence by purchasing advertisement with them which expands your brand and creates revenue for them. I dont want to hear you dont have any money because when it comes to most of the internet radio stations, they will work with ANY budget you have for #marketing and #advertising. They cater to #indieartists. Grow your brand, be kind, create relationships, and be wise in business. I dont care how great your music is, if you dont do these things, word will spread of your selfish unappreciative spirit and folk will hate you and consequently hate your single which means NO SPINS FOR YOU.
